We offered 20 of our newsletter subscribers the opportunity to sit down with the team at All Angels and a couple of super knowledgable and experienced independent wine experts (@wineman147 and Patricia Stefanowicz MW) as we took them through a live blending exercise.
Starting with a selection of ‘still’ base wines from our 2023 harvest to sample, we talked our guests through why and how we blend them together to produce a potential 2023 Sparkling Rosé!!
In just 2 and a half hours we had collectively trialled, curated, tasted and agreed on our preferred Rosé blend, which included Rondo, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay (with and without MLF) and Pinot Noir - what an experience.
Following this, it was time to enjoy a glass of one of our existing Sparkling Rosés, the one that most closely matched the chosen blend, alongside a delicious platter of cheese, charcuterie and smoked trout!
